It was 100 degrees outside at the end of July in Cottage Grove. The guests were given a tent to sit under during the ceremony but that only helped so much. I’m an Oregon coast boy and was not used to that kind of heat so photographing proved to be a little difficult as my hands began losing grip on my camera from excessive sweat. Thankfully, the reception was held under a great tree shielding everyone from the sun. One of the highlights of the reception was the zip-line set up in the backyard. There were a couple of wipeouts but no serious injuries. It wouldn’t be a wedding at a Haberly’s without a reunion of smiles.
